Snowmen Butter cookies

Merry Christmas

I wanted to post this on Christmas Eve but could not, sorry.  I felt like making cookies and suddenly I got this idea from 'Taste of Home' but I have added some of my own ingredients as well. My younger daughter was hooked...She had to have these cookies. The cookies tasted awesome. All possible ingredients are available at home and it is egg less.

Serves 10 cookies

Ingredients

2 cups all purpose flour
¾ cup butter
½ cup sugar
I tsp orange juice or water
1 tsp vanilla Extract
1 tsp ginger powder
A pinch of salt
Red and green food color

Procedure

Beat the butter and sugar together until creamy.

Now add orange juice or water (I used juice) and vanilla and beat it until incorporated.

Then add flour, ginger powder, salt and make soft dough with your hand.

Take out 3 tbsp of dough in two bowls, add green color and red color to them and mix well.

Pre-heat the oven for 4 minutes at 3500

Grease a baking tray with butter and spread a cooking sheet.
Make a small round ball and another large ball, press them together and make it flat. (As shown in the picture)

With any color make a hat and place on top of the head.

Make two small ropes with red and green color dough, twist them together and place it below head to form a scarf.

Use sprinkles for the eyes and mix water with red food color and use a tooth pick to make a mouth.

Preheat your oven to 360 F / 180 C.

 Bake for 10-12 minutes.

Remove tray from oven, allow it to cool for 10 minutes in the pan.
If you want serve with milk
