Watermelon Lemonade - Refreshing Summer Drink

With the summer time around there are a lot of fruits in the market especially watermelons. Watermelons are juicy and tasty but sometimes we get bored of eating them so why not turn them into a tasty and healthy drink, a perfect way to beat the summer heat.
When your kids come from school in the heat, take their bags and hand them a glass of watermelon lemonade. I must say that when your hubby returns from work hand him a glass of this drink, it will make him feel very relaxed and chilled




Serves-4 

Watermelon Lemonade  




Ingredients
 

Watermelon pieces

     2 cups

Lemon

     2,small variety

Sugar

     2-3 tblsp

Salt

     1 generous pinch

Black salt

Mint leaves

     1 pinch

     4 leaves






Preparations

Remove the seeds of watermelon and cut it into small pieces. Place the cut watermelon and all of the above ingredients expect lemon in a blender. If you add lemon now it will make the drink bitter.  Blend and mix it well. Do not put water, put ice cubes if you want, there is already enough water in the watermelon.
Use a big metal strainer and strain. Squeeze the lemon and mix. Add salt and sugar to your taste. Serve chilled and enjoy!


Notes

Whenever I make these types of drinks, 10 minutes before, I always put the glass in which it will be served in the refrigerator so that the drink will stay chilled
