Apple Shrikhand
Shrikhand is a very
popular Indian dessert made from strained yogurt. It is one of the main desserts
in Maharashtrian and Guajarati cuisine. I had it before but never tried to make
it at home. Today for the first time I prepared it and it was very good. I love
to try and make new things in my kitchen. Shrikhands are generally made by using
mango but I have used green apples. It’s a very simple and easy to make low fat
dessert and is loved by people who do not prefer oil and ghee. You can serve it
after lunch or dinner.
