Tri Color Popsicle

 Happy Independence Day to all my viewers

This is in honor of India’s 67^th Independence Day. I always make a tri color item on Independence Day even when I did not have a blog. This is the first time I made a tri color popsicle. They are a fun and tasty way to cool down for the summers. They are very easy and require little work to make.  

Serves 3

Ingredients

 4 cups warm Water

6 tsp Jelly powder / gelatin orange flavor

6 tsp Jelly powder / gelatin lime flavor

 2 cups Milk

Sugar (as required)

Mould or plastic cup (I used plastic cup)

Ice cream sticks

Procedure

Take 3 small plastic cups

Take 2 cups of warm water in a bowl and mix 6 tsp of orange gelatin powder. Pour  1/3 cup of  the mixture into each plastic cup. Wrap it with a plastic to avoid frost. Put it in the freezer to freeze for at least 3 hours.

Boil 2 cups of milk with sugar as required. Let the milk cool and pour 1/3 cup on the frozen orange gelatin (it will be frozen by then) and put in the freezer.  

After 30 minutes take it out and insert the ice cream sticks and keep in the freezer for at least 3 hours.

The last layer is lime. Similarly take 2 cups of warm water and mix 6 tsp of lime gelatin powder. Similarly let it cool and pour 1/3 cup on the frozen milk. Freeze for at least 3 hours.

Take them out

  You can also use any flavor of gelatin you like J
